The Fredericton Public Library is a public library located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; it is the province's most used public library.〔Fredericton Tourist Information Guide, 1990-2005 editions.〕 Established in 1955,〔''A History of the Fredericton Public Library'' published by The Fredericton Public Library, Fredericton, NB, 1994.〕 the current building, designed by Architect Keith L. Graham, was built in June 1975 and remodelled and expanded in 1990.〔Fredericton Tourist Information Guide, 1991-2005 editions.〕 The library holds books, large print books, current magazines and newspapers, compact disks, DVDs, VHS, and a slowly diminishing collection of gramophone records and compact cassettes. Microforms of local newspapers such as ''The Daily Gleaner'' and ''The Telegraph Journal'' are available.
